Privacy policy

KVIAS ITIM (קביעת עיתים) is a daily Torah learning app at kviasitim.app. Questions about your data: notify@kviasitim.app.

• Your sign-in: your email address (or the address we build from your username) and a password hash. We never keep your password itself.
• Your learning: days you learned, streak, XP and rank, saved lessons, the books on your shelf, bookmarks, notes and quotes, highlights, comments and who you follow.
• Your profile: display name and the picture you upload or choose.
• Your preferences: tracks, language, text size, reminders.
• Anything you send through "Leave feedback".

Chavrutah video and sound are sent directly between the two of you and are never recorded or stored. Notes and questions typed in a chavrutah room stay live while the room is open and are not saved when you leave. We show no ads and we don't sell or rent anything about you.

• Sefaria — the Torah texts, translations and book search are fetched from Sefaria's public library.
• Our hosting and database provider (Lovable Cloud) — where your account and learning data live.
• An AI service that writes the Daf Yomi and aliya summaries you ask for.
• Video-call connection servers (Google and Cloudflare, plus Twilio when enabled) — they see connection information needed to join two devices, not the content of your call.
• Our email service sends sign-up confirmations, password resets and reminders from notify@kviasitim.app.

Everything you stored is visible in the app. To have all of it removed, open MY DERECH → Account → Delete my account: your picture, learning history, shelf, notes, highlights, comments and follows are deleted and your sign-in is closed. You can also email notify@kviasitim.app and we'll do it for you.

KVIAS ITIM is not directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their data. If you believe a child under 13 has an account, email us and we'll close it.

If this policy changes, the date above changes and we say so in the app.
